1st paragraph: You have to write here introductory lines, describe the following points:

  • You are interested in this job vacancy.
  • how did you came to know of job? for example: newspapers, online job search websites etc.
  • Describe you have enough qualifications, skills and experience to be fit for the job position.

2nd paragraph: Now target description, duties and required qualification for advertised job and describe you have got the relevant  skills and experience, so you are fit for this job. Do not repeat the CV/Resume. Just give highlights of your qualification, abilities and achievements which you got in past. So, that employer could be compelled to Read your CV/Resume and call you for interview. If you have experience, you should explained how well have worked and benefited your previous or current employer.

Step # 01:

First Step is your introduction. It should be at top of cover letter. Your introduction should consist of your name at the top. Then your current skill level; for example Electrical Engineer, Plumber etc. If you don’t want to write your skill level with your introduction, no problem. Add Your contact details including your contact number, a professionally looking email address and your residential address. You can also add your social profile links like LinkedIn, Twitter.
