How to apply UAE Job Seeker Visa?

UAE has announced a new UAE job seeker visa which is in effect from October 3. The reason for adding such an option in their Advanced Visa System is to provide a facility to people seeking jobs on a tourist visa. The new visa offers young talents an opportunity to make a career and explore job opportunities available in the country. Skilled professionals can also apply and it doesn’t require any sponsor. We cannot deny the fact that most people travel to UAE on a tourist visa although their main goal is to find a job. UAE Job Seeker Visa Eligibility Requirements:

The government of UAE had earlier announced 3 classified skill levels to grant visas. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation is responsible for the check and balance of UAE job seeker visas. Fresh graduates around the world can apply many professions without any hesitation. Ensure that you have a minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

Skill Level 1: includes managers, engineers, safety officers, public relations officers, doctors, quantity surveyors, and reservation officers.

Skill Level 2: includes mechanical and technical jobs.

Skill Level 3: includes sales executive, sales representative, site supervisor, ticketing clerk, cashiers, receptionist, cash desk clerk, sales supervisor, storekeeper, tourist guide, and others.

UAE Job Seeker Visa Validity Options:

The UAE job seeker visa is a single entry and will be issued with three validity options: 60, 90, and 120 days. These are the only three options available at the moment as per the information on the website of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP). So four months most will be given to explore a job in the marketplace.

The Process to apply the Job Seeker Visa through ICP UAE:

UAE job seeker visa First, visit the official ICP website , link is given below:

and under the ‘Services’ tab, click on ‘channels Residency & Citizenship.

You will see three options for the job seeker visa:

1. ‘Visa – single entry – Search for job 60 days – issue new visa’

2. ‘Visa – single entry – Search for job 90 days – issue new visa’

3. ‘Visa – single entry – Search for job 120 days – issue new visa’

Select the duration of the visa of your own choice and click on start the service.

You will then be re-directed to the form that you need to fill out with the details below:

Applicant Information: At this step, you will need to enter mandatory details such as name, mobile number, and email address. If you see a section in Arabic, simply type your detail in English like your name and the system will automatically translate it into Arabic.

Identification information: This step includes the optional UID number and the department from which you want to issue the visa. Select the Emirate from which you want to apply the visa, such as Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm al Quwain.

Personal information: In this step, you will need to provide passport details, details of your educational qualification, and family details.

Address: Provide your address inside and outside the UAE.

Click on Next: Upload the following required documents:

  • Passport copy
  • Colored photograph
  • Qualification certificate (attested)

Additionally, the applicant should also submit the following documents:

  • Place of residence in the UAE (rent contract or hotel reservation)
  • Health insurance that covers the period of stay
  • Copy of the original return ticket
  • Certified bank account statement
  • National ID card

Visa Payment

Once you have completed all the information, make the payment so ICP can start processing your application. The approved application confirmation and status will be sent via email.
