Hajj Quota by Country 2023

Hajj Quota by country 2023 has been published by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia. This year, 81,132 pilgrims will be going from Pakistan. According to Saudi Gazette, informed sources said that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has fixed the number of Hajj pilgrims coming from each country this year. Before this, The Ministry announced that this year, only 1 million pilgrims will be allowed to perform the rituals of the Hajj pilgrimage, this figure includes both international and domestic pilgrims. During the last two years, the Hajj pilgrimage for international pilgrims was suspended by the Saudi Arabian Government due to the corona pandemic.

Number of Pilgrims Allowed all Over the World in Hajj Quota by Country 2023:

Saudi Arabia was used to allowing over 2.5 million pilgrims to perform the Hajj pilgrimage from all over the world before the pandemic. This year the 85% percentage (850,000 pilgrims) of Hajj Quota by country 2023 from one million is allotted to international pilgrims as they couldn’t perform during the last 2 years, while for local pilgrims number for the hajj quota this year is set to 15% percentage (150,000 pilgrims).

Indonesia is top of the list with 100,051 pilgrims allowed, then Pakistan (81,132), India (79,237), Bangladesh (57,585), and Nigeria(43,008). The African country Angola is at the end of the list of Hajj Quota by country 2023 with 23 pilgrims. As per Saudi officials, people under the age of 65 will be able to perform the Hajj this year. It’s mandatory that all candidates should submit a negative PCR test of Corona 72 hours before departure from the country.
