Hajj and Umrah News Update: Only Fully Vaccinated People Can Pray at Grand Mosque.

Hajj and Umrah News from Saudi Arabia, reported by Saudi Gazette. Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced new policy for pilgrims who wish to perform prayer at Grand Mosque in Makkah.

As per new policy only fully vaccinated people can get permit to perform prayer in Grand Mosque in Makkah. Two doses of any of approved vaccines are mandatory to get prayer permit.

The above policy will be applicable to those who want to visit Rawdah Sharif and Grave of Beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). These pilgrims have to be fully vaccinated.

All those who have received one dose of vaccine and got above said prayer permit, they have been given 48hours to get the second dose of vaccine. Otherwise, their prayer permits will be canceled.

As per new update, those who received only one dose of vaccine or have recovered from covid, they cannot book permit through Eatmarna and Twakkalna apps, they have to book through vaccination centers.

According to Ministry of Health  of Saudi Arabia, the immune status will not be issued for those have received only one dose of vaccine. The immune status will granted to fully vaccinated people only.
