The Saudi government has decided to keep all international flights suspended until further notice. There was some news that Saudi is going to open airports for international flights from 15 June 2020. The national airline of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Airlines, said on its Twitter page that all international flights are still suspended and will remain suspended until further decision.
According to the latest news published by Saudi Gazette and Gulf news, when international flights are resumed, no date has been announced. Saudi government and civil aviation department will decide and publish through their official channels when to open international flights.
Saudi Arabia has already resumed domestic flights from 31 May; the number of airports and domestic flights is being increased gradually. It is expected that Saudia will resume international flights very soon, but it will be done gradually. There may be some limitations on which countries’ citizens and what type of visa holders would be allowed to travel to KSA. Some medical clearance tests like PCR tests would be expected as a part new travel policy.
