How to Apply UAE Job Seeker Visa

How to apply UAE Job Seeker Visa?

The UAE introduced its jobseeker (job exploration) visit visa on October 3, 2022, as part of the Advanced Visa System. The reason for adding such an option in their Advanced Visa System is to provide a facility to people seeking jobs on a tourist visa. The new visa offers young talents an opportunity to make a career and explore job opportunities available in the country. Skilled professionals can also apply and it doesn’t require any sponsor. We cannot deny the fact that most people travel to UAE on a tourist visa although their main goal is to find a job. We are going to discuss more details about the new visa including validity options, eligibility criteria, cost, and the procedure to apply.

UAE Job Seeker Visa Eligibility Requirements:

The government of UAE had earlier announced 3 classified skill levels to grant visas. Eligibility follows the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation’s approved professional levels of jobs — applicants must fall in the first, second, or third skill level. Fresh graduates of the world’s top 500 universities (per the UAE Ministry of Education’s approved classification) can also apply, provided they graduated within the last two years. Ensure that you have a minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

Applicants must fall in the first, second, or third skill level per MOHRE’s approved professional levels of jobs.

UAE Job Seeker Visa Validity Options:

The visa is issued for one trip with three validity options: 60, 90, or 120 days. The ICP channel issues single-entry visas; the Dubai (GDRFA) channel also offers multiple-visit options. These are the only three options available at the moment as per the information on the website of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP). The longest option (120 days) gives you up to four months to explore job opportunities in the country.
