Omani residents stranded abroad can now return to Oman, Gulf News reported. All foreigners holding residency visa of Oman are now allowed to come back. However, stranded residents have to obtain an approval from Ministry of foreign affairs of Oman.
Residents wishing to back to Oman, can send an application for approval at the following email address of consular department of Omani government:
The email must include visa and passport details and the reason of failure to return to Oman. Details about Other social and economic problems as well as any urgency (if any) should also be included in the email. All communication will be made through email. The applicants will receive approval within a few days via email which allows them to come back.
