Hajj Flight Schedule 2023:
The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority has officially announced the Hajj Flight Schedule 2023. According to the authority, the first Hajj flight will arrive in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, 21st May (1st Dhu al-Qa’dah 1444 AH), marking the beginning of this year’s pilgrimage. Conversely, the final flight for the Hajj pilgrimage will depart on Thursday, 22nd June (4th Dhu al-Hijjah) and is scheduled to arrive in Saudi Arabia at 11:59 PM, adhering to international time standards.

As per the report by the newspaper “24,” the Civil Aviation Authority provided additional information regarding the return of the pilgrims. The pilgrimage return process is set to commence on Friday, 1st July 2023 (13th Dhu al-Hijjah 1444 AH), allowing the pilgrims to gradually return home. The final flight for the returning pilgrims has been scheduled to depart on 2nd August 2023 (15th Muharram 1445 AH).
To ensure smooth operations, the Civil Aviation Authority has implemented specific regulations for the airports. Before the commencement of the Hajj pilgrimage, any aircraft will not be permitted to remain at the airport for more than two hours. Similarly, after the conclusion of the Hajj, departing flights will be required to depart within three hours, reducing congestion and facilitating efficient operations.
Additionally, the statement highlighted that aircraft with 400 or more seats will be allowed to stay at the airport for a maximum of four hours. However, it is important to note that exceptional circumstances, such as natural disasters, may require different protocols to be followed. In such cases, it is essential to consult the relevant departments within the airport administration to ensure appropriate arrangements are made.
