Additionally, the Saudi Jawazat has provided answers to important questions from departing expatriates traveling on exit-reentry visas on its official account. One inquiry was from a foreign national asking whether they could return to Saudi Arabia on a new visa after their previous one had expired, or if they were required to spend three years outside the country.
Exit Re Entry Visa New Rules – Clarification:
The Jawazat clarified, stating that individuals who left Saudi Arabia on an exit-reentry visa can return on a new employment visa if they did not come back within the visa’s expiration period.
Another individual inquired about having traveled on an exit-reentry visa from Saudi Arabia, but their visa had expired. They asked if they could return on a new visa or if permission was needed to return on the previous visa.
Jawazat’s Guidance on Exit Re Entry Visa New Rules:
The Jawazat responded, stating that returning on a new employment visa is possible, and there is no requirement to return on the old visa. Permission for return is granted on both new and old employment visas.
