Iqama extension KSA Update: The King of Saudi Arabia Shah Salman has ordered free extension in Iqama, visa and exit/re-entry till 31 August 2021. This applies to those who are currently outside Saudi Arabia and unable to travel to KSA due flight restrictions.
The iqama and visa extension is automatic, so there is no need to submit any application. The expiry date of said documents will be extended in the system automatically free of cost.
Foreigners holding visa or iqama of Saudi Arabia can see new expiry date online within a few days as it may take a few days to update the record in the system.
This automatic extension is available only for those countries which are currently banned due to covid, news published by Saudi Gazette.
