FM Portal Pakistan Account Registration – Foreign Minister’s Portal Pakistan for Overseas Pakistanis

The FM Portal Pakistan (Foreign Minister’s Portal Pakistan) has been officially launched as reported by Radio Pakistan. In the first phase ,it will operate as a pilot program in five Pakistani missions abroad. The Foreign Minister of Pakistan announced portal on 16 June 2021 aiming to resolve the issues of overseas Pakistanis. Pakistanis living abroad as well as foreigners, can register complaints through FM portal if they are facing any issue. Not only complaints but also the feedback and suggestions can be submitted directly to the foreign minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

FM Portal Pakistan App Download:

The FM portal app is available in play store. Currently, it is only for android phone users however, the IOS version will also be released very soon. You can download Foreign Minister’s Portal app by clicking the following link:

FM Portal Pakistan Account Registration:

Account registration in FM portal is mandatory to use services available in the app.  Just follow the steps given below for the account registration:

First of all download and install FM portal app from the link given above.

Now open the app. You will have two options “Register” and “Sign in”.  If you have already created an account in this portal, you can click Sign in. As a new user, you have to click “Register” first.

On the next page, there are further two options

    • Overseas Pakistani
    • Foreign National

Foreign nationals can also use this app. However, as a citizen of Pakistan, you have to click “Overseas Pakistani”.

A new page with a sign up form will open. You have to fill this form with the following credentials:

    • your full name
    • Overseas Pakistani Identity Card Number
    • Mobile number with country code
    • email
    • gender
    • Profession/occupation
    • Country (abroad)
    • city  (city abroad)
    • Address (abroad)
    • date of birth
    • Choose password

After filling the Sign up form click “Continue”

Now, you will see a success message which means you have successfully registered your new account in FM portal app. Click  “Log in” at this point.

Now a login page will open. Enter your email and password, and Click “Log in”. As you have registered a new account, you have to verify your email address. A pop up message will appear telling you to verify your email address. Just Click “verify email”. It will send a code to your email address. find that code and click “enter code”. Get code from your email inbox and enter here, click “submit”. you will see a success message. You don’t need to verify it again as it is only for the first time. Now, click “go to dashboard” and it will take you to your account.

You have successfully registered your account in foreign minister’s portal. If you have any complaints against any department of Pakistan or you want to give suggestions to Pakistani government, you can do it using this  app. You can see a “+” sign in your app, click it and you will see two options:

    • Complaint
    • Suggestions

You can choose anyone and enter the details of complaint or suggestions.

Currently, the FM portal covers Pakistani missions in Barcelona, Dubai, Jeddah, London and New York . Gradually its coverage will be expanded to other countries.
