UAE government has relaxed travel restriction for residents and citizens who want to travel abroad from UAE. Previously, it was mandatory for travelers to get approval from government in order to go outside UAE. However, a new decision has come, residents and citizens of UAE can travel to any country which allows them to enter. The national emergency crises and disaster management authority of UAE has announced the new decision on Friday, there will be no restriction on traveling to any country for any purpose, passengers can travel on national airlines of UAE.
Although UAE authorities has lifted outbound travel restrictions yet travelers have to follow and adopt all precautionary measures to prevent covid 19. They have to meet visa and entry requirements of destination country as well. According to gulf news report: passengers must have a valid travel insurance covering their period of stay abroad. The destination country may require a covid 19 test in advance before departure from UAE, so travelers must check the latest entry requirements of the destination country as well airlines.
While returning to UAE: A PCR test is mandatory from an approved lab before departure. UAE government has already launched a dedicated website where list of approved labs abroad can be found (click here to visit website). This website is useful for all travelers who wish to travel to UAE including visitors, residents. The test report can be submitted to UAE authorities through AlHosn app or in any other possible way.
