Saudi Arabia has updated travel restrictions and included 4 more countries in the list of banned countries. According to Saudi Press Agency, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia and Vietnam have been added in the banned countries.
Inbound and outbound flights for these four countries will be suspended from 04 July 2021, 11 PM. All passengers coming from these countries before this date, have to quarantine.
According to Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi citizens wishing to travel to Ethiopia, UAE and Vietnam, have to get prior permission for traveling.
Afghanistan has been an easy route for Pakistani passengers during flights ban period. A large number of Pakistani traveled from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia via Afghanistan. The recent development will suspend this flight route.
