Finally, Saudi government has lifted curfew across the country including Makkah and Jeddah from 21 June 2020 as it was earlier announced by Saudi Interior ministry on Saturday. According to Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia, all economic and commercial activities will be allowed from today.
Hair dresser shops, exercise and gym centers and beauty salons will also be allowed to work from today. The ministry has allowed sports activities as well.
Umrah and international flights are still suspended and will remain suspended until further notice. Saudi government will soon make a decision about Hajj 2o2o.
Saudi Arabia is going back to normal life as it was before covid-19. However, Saudi government has said that all people have to adopt and follow precautionary measures which includes social distancing, wearing masks etc. Gathering of more than 50 people will not be allowed. Anyone who violates the measures, will be penalized.
Saudi ministry has advised people to download two app “Tabaud” and “Twakkalna” to receive latest advice and information from government regarding covid-19 situation.
