Saskatchewan PNP: The International Skilled Worker Category Without Job Offer:

Saskatchewan is one the nine Canadian Provinces and Territories which participate in Canadian Provincial Nominee Program, a way to permanent residence of Canada along with Express Entry the Federal Immigration Program.

Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) is a way to choose candidates and Nominate them to Federal Immigration for Permanent Residence. Saskatchewan chooses candidates who apply in occupations listed by Saskatchewan immigration. Ways to Apply Saskatchewan PNP:

Generally, there are two ways to be nominated by Saskatchewan; First method is to apply through Expression of Interest (EOI) Directly at website of Saskatchewan Immigration application Portal. Second way is to apply for Express Entry and choose Saskatchewan as a Province of Interest while applying online. This enables relevant authorities to assess  application under Saskatchewan immigration’s criteria. Once application is approved, the express entry profile will be updated and credited with additional 600 points under Comprehensive Ranking Score System. Finally, applicant will receive invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian Permanent Residence.

It is one of the main Immigration programs of Saskatchewan immigration. Foreigners with good language abilities, work experience and education in any of occupations in demands can apply under The international skilled worker category. You can apply as International skill worker in any of the following program without job offer:

Occupations in Demand Sub-Category Without Job Offer:

Candidates with good work experience and education in an occupation listed in occupation in demands can apply without job offer. This is a point based stream, so applicants need be high skilled in his occupation and proficient either in English or Spanish. There is no need to create express entry profile to apply for this program. You can apply and submit your express of interest at official website of Saskatchewan immigration. Once you are nominated by Saskatchewan PNP, you can apply Canada’s Permanent Residence outside Express Entry.

Eligibility to Apply without Job Offer in Occupation in Demand Category:

  • One or more years experience in past ten years in your occupation, it should be related to your education, training etc. Occupation should be listed as Skill Level 0, A or B under Canadian Immigration NOC list. It should also be listed by Saskatchewan Occupations in demand.
  • Minimum CLB 4 level or more language ability is required. In case of ielts, minimum 3 bands in reading, 4 bands in writing, 4.5 in listening and 4 bands in speaking will be required.
  • Proof of funds for settlement along with future settlement plan.
  • You need to obtain minimum 6o points out of 100 Points.
  • You must have completed at least 12 months of training, apprenticeship, or post-secondary education that resulted in a degree, certificate, or diploma and is comparable to the equivalent Canadian education. It means you have to get ECA certificate first before you apply.
  • If you occupation needs license, you must provide eligibility proof for occupation obtained local regulatory authority.

Removed Occupations from Saskatchewan Occupation in Demand List: 

Recently on 19 September 2019, Saskatchewan Immigration has removed nearly 129 occupations from the list of Occupations in demand. 200 occupations are now included in occupation in demand list. However, Saskatchewan immigration did not publish the current occupation in demand list. Instead, a new list is published which consists of occupations removed from occupation in demand. So, you need to make sure your occupations is not on the list of removed occupations.
